GW: Rumor Engine “What’s in the Box”

Looks like Games Workshop is showing off some skeletons in the closet with this new Rumor Engine.

The Rumour Engine is back – and it’s got something exciting to show us:

Skulls for the Skull Throne! Wait…no, this one reeks of “Holy Emperor” in stead of “Mighty Khorne” scent. If I had to guess we’re looking at something for a Chaplin, a holy relic for either 40k or AoS, or perhaps something more sinister like Death Guard. Lots of factions use this type of imagery (skulls are a thing in the Grim-Dark and AoS). So my initial gut reaction reminds me of this:

It could very well be something more like this:

Then again, there is an entire faction of Undead that hasn’t gotten a lot of attention (for almost two years). Then again, we did get a good look at this guy earlier and it does seem rather fitting to have it be related to the new Primaris Chaplain:

So what’s your best guess for this new bit?
