Tabletop Podcast Review: July 9th
Adam here for another week of tabletop podcast reviews! Grand Tournament recaps and book reviews are the topics for this week!
Hey all, Adam here, from TFG Radio, for this week’s reviews! This week podcasts are getting a couple grand tournament recaps, and another change in format, along with a book review, for another podcast! So, let’s get on with the reviews!
Battlehosts Episode 43 – This episode they a couple guests, the tournament organizers of the first 8th edition Grand Tournament, the Boise Cup GT. They discuss the venue, the logistics leading up to the GT, and what occurred while running it. They also talk about lessons learned and what their plans are for next year’s event. Nice talk about the event and what they took away from the first large tournament in 8th edition 40K.
Facehammer GT Heat 3 – This episode they discuss the army list that won the Age of Sigmar GT Heat 3 in the UK. They discuss a destruction list that is made up of Moonclan Grots with a lot of squigs. Nice coverage about a atypical list in the Age of Sigmar scene.
Masters of the Forge Episode 96 – After a short break, the podcast has changed their format again and have gone back to there bi-weekly release schedule. This episode they discuss the book, “Dark Millennium” and have an interview with Guy Haley. It is nice coverage of the book, and interview. I actually prefer the longer format with the bi-weekly schedule as I felt the weekly schedule was missing something.
Signals from the Frontline – Always a good listen for new and rumors on 40K and other miniature games in the industry.
