A man attempts to escape a post apocalyptic oppressive regime and starts a revolution in the process.
This short from first time writer/director Teddy Cecil is the winner of over 50 awards, including Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film of 2016 at SDCC. It’s a large scale project with VFX elements that too nearly 2 years to complete.
HELIO is a short, visceral film centered on a post-apocalyptic underground society where its citizens mine to sustain their dark existence. One worker sparks a revolution when he attempts to break free of his dystopian underworld.
