GENCON 50 – GW Dreams
GW is attending GENCON 50, and we will be there later today. Here’s what we’re hoping to see:
It’s that time of year. Everyone from BoLS gets up WAY too early and flies into Inanapolis to hang out with 70,000 other gamers at GENCON. It’s a crazed event one-third uber tournament, one-third mega gamer-mall, and one third trade show. It’s got everything you want from every manufacturer under the sun, and we will be on the case till Sunday.
GW’s booth will be prime target and we will get you info on what they are showing off. Here’s what we hope to see:
Age of Sigmar General’s Handbook 2017
I’m really curious to see how this one pans out. We know the big news is the fully updated point costs for every unit inthe game – including all the new races released this year. My real interest is whether the book will be basically be a reprint of the original with updated sections, or if it is getting a significant amount of new unseen material.
Codex Death Guard (psst on the left)
The next codex everyone is eagerly waiting for. No idea if GW is going to be a tease, but I’m holding out hope and we will be reporting on anything nurgly we see from the floor (not including the 2 feet tall displays of dice-by-the -pound 70,000 gamers stick their hands in all weekend) – PROTIP: don’t do it, the savings aren’t worth the doctor’s bills. I’m hoping to catch a glimpse of a codex in some form and maybe, just maybe….
