GenCon: BoLS Goes to Paizo and Space
BoLS checks in with the folks at Paizo, finds Starfinder, sort of.
There’s no denying that Starfinder made a big hit at this year’s GenCon, selling out in a few scant hours like it did. Also vanishing quickly were the GM Screen and Incident at Absalom Station, the first adventure in the upcoming Dead Suns Adventure Path. All of which we’ve seen before, which is good, because you couldn’t really see it there.
Actually, that’s not entirely true. You could see it everywhere you looked. People waiting in lines were checking out the Core Book (or the Tal’Dorei setting, lots of Critters this time ’round, but that’s another article entirely).
Or you could step up to the massive League Play room where both varieties of -finder Societies (Star and Path) were gathered in full force and hitting the adventures with ask the gusto you’d expect from a bunch of amped up marmosets.
It was wondrous to behold. The kind of thing that mashes you excited to get in there and game. Which even if you didn’t get your copy of Starfinder, you can still manage to pick up through all the normal means.
