The world is devastated by plague. The only survivors do so in small, isolated groups. The world needs you to rise up and ensure humanity’s survival.
Pandemic Legacy: Season 2 is the stand-alone follow up to the hugely popular Pandemic Legacy: Season 1. Like previous Pandemic games, Season 2 is a cooperative legacy game for 2 to 4 players. The box contains a campaign story the players will work through and control the setting for the following games. Season 2 presents a unique spin to the Pandemic formula. Instead of removing disease cubes, players must add Supply cubes to ward off the plague. Players must balance producing more Supply cubes while working to get them to the cities that need them the most. If an Infection card shows a city with no Supply cubes, the city is infected. Do you brave the viral storm and enter the infected city or leave them to their grim fate? That’s up to you to decide.
Legacy games are becoming more popular and Pandemic Legacy: Season 1 is mostly to blame. Z-Man Games does an excellent job with their storytelling and legacy game format. It is 71 years after the events of Season 1 and only a few ‘cities’ exist. They are held together by the floating Havens surrounding the mainland, which run the supply trains which allow humanity to eke out an existence. But supplies are running low and the people look to you and your team to lead them. You will explore parts of the world that have long since gone dark in search of food, medicine and tools; anything that can help you survive.

The world almost ended seventy-one years ago. A virulent plague came out of nowhere and ravaged the world. For three generations, small groups of survivors have struggled to keep the world alive. Operating from floating stations known as “havens,” they have maintained a loose network of the largest cities by delivering supplies to the mainland. But their efforts are no longer enough. Cities are falling off the grid and supplies are running low. The world needs a group of heroes to emerge and lead it through this crisis. In Pandemic Legacy: Season 2, this task has fallen to you.
