D&D: Extra Life Was A Smashing Success
Extra Life concluded this last weekend. Thanks to your efforts, Extra Life raised a ton of money to help children in need.
Dungeons and Dragons is as much about the community as it is the game. You can’t have one without the other, after all. And it’s nice to see a community really around and really do some good. This past weekend was a chance to do exactly that as Wizards of the Coast (and friends) joined in the Extra Life fundraiser–24 hours of gaming meant to raise money for children in need.
And, thanks to the donation of folks like you, this year’s Extra Life raised in excess of seven million dollars, with the Dungeons and Dragons team coming in 3rd on the team leaderboards, raising well over one hundred thousand dollars for the Children’s Miracle Network.
Of course, in true D&D fashion, all this heroism comes with some treasure attached. Players unlocked previews of the soon to be released Xanathar’s Guise to everything, but also unlocked some concept art and special digital content. Check out the full list of rewards below.

But in the meantime, thanks for your efforts, this stuff really does make a difference.
Only way to be a bigger hero is to be a man hanging out of a space ship with a shotgun.
