Two more warbands are entering the fray of Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire!

Skaven and Fyreslayers make their mark in Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire and they each bring something different to the arena:

The Chosen Axes are a pretty interesting warband. Modelwise, you’re only getting 4 models but each one is packed full of character. This warband also plays pretty different from the others. First off, they hit pretty hard! Their Leader Fjul-Grimnir swings for a whopping 4 damage when he’s inspired – and to get that condition, it’s not that difficult.

On the flip side, they are fairly slow and don’t have a TON of armor. However, if you let them get rolling they are pretty hard to take out. Expect this warband to play defensively at first and then explode aggressively on their opponent.

Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire – The Chosen Axes $30

Introduce a new and unique warband to your games of Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire and take advantage of new and different ways to play – whatever warband you use – with this set of miniatures and cards. It includes 4 Fyreslayers miniatures and a deck of 60 cards, 30 of which are universal, to be used by any and every warband – add these cards to your arsenal and build your perfect deck.

– 4 Easy To Build, orange plastic Fyreslayers miniatures: Fjul-Grimnir, Tef Flamebearer, Mad Maegrim, and Vol Orrukbane;
– 60 unique cards for use in games of Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire, broken down as follows:
– 9 objective cards the The Chosen Axes;
– 10 upgrade cards for The Chosen Axes;
– 10 ploys for The Chosen Axes;
– 11 universal objectives, for use with any Warhammer Underworlds warband;
– 10 universal upgrades, for use with any Warhammer Underworlds warband;
– 10 universal ploys, for use with any Warhammer Underworlds warband.

The Skaven play entirely different – they are FAST. With a movement of 5 they can get where they need to go. Unfortunately for them, they are pretty easy to take out – a good hit should drop them with ease.

They can be flipped to their Inspired side fairly easily. Also note that it’s when A Player choose this fighter when using a ploy. If your opponent targets your model with a ploy, that triggers them too! It’s not much, but it’s a deterrent! Also, this is a warband that heavily revolves around it’s leader and his ability to bring back “Generic” ratmen. The ‘other’ skaven can return after being defeated and can pop-up on any starting hex! It’s kind of terrifying to think about the swarm popping up on the other side of the board, surrounding your fighter, and taking them out.
