Games Workshop has updated the Warhammer Underworld’s Card Library with Magore’s Fiends and The Farstriders expansions. And to go along with the updates, a new FAQ has been released as well. Time to check for what changes will impact you and your chosen Warband!

Card Library Update

“Firstly, the Warhammer Underworlds Card Library has now been updated with all 120 new cards from the Magore’s Fiends and The Farstridersexpansions – and as always, it’s free to access! With cards for every warband, you’ll be able to start planning what you want from each expansion, as well as preparing yourself for the latest cunning tricks you and your opponents will be able to try.”

With 437 cards spread among 8 warbands, it’s a great resource to have all of those cards in one easy to use location. Don’t get blindsided by a card you haven’t seen yet – go check out the Card Library and be ready for anything!

FAQ Now Available

“…we’re releasing another FAQ designed to address your most commonly asked questions – you can download it here.  To help make your games run as smoothly as possible, we’re also making the rules for Warhammer Underworlds available for free in a downloadable PDF on the Warhammer Underworlds website that incorporates the latest FAQs.”

Overall, there were quite a few changes – but a lot of these were just clarifications to wording and rules interactions. Necessary, but not particularly earth shattering.

 Hints At The Future

Buried in the announcement was a sentence that jumped out at me. Games Workshop has plans for this game. Take a look:

“With the latest two expansions, Warhammer Underworlds now features 437 cards and eight warbands, offering a huge number of possibilities to players when building their decks and choosing their playstyles – and there’s more on the way (emphasis added).”

Yes – that’s right folks, Games Workshop is planning to add “more” to the game of Warhammer Underworlds. Will we be seeing a new setting, more warbands, and more ways to customize your decks with more cards? I sure hope so! GW could really take this game in a few different directions and expand the scope of the game. They could just release more cards similar to FFG’s LCG expansion model – or they could come out with entirely new Warbands and models (heck ya)!

Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire is getting lots of support from GW with updates and Tournament Support. Now is a great time to jump in and play!
