The BIG FAQ And Revenge Of The Beta Rules – FTN
The long-awaited FAQ is here and it’s glorious. The very core of matched play has been changed and I think it’s changed for the better.
The rule of 3 is a breath of fresh air. Its one of the cool ways the designers are willing to help balance tournament play.
Hey guys,
We’re back! And what a time to be back with this epic FAQ drop. Points have changed, army list design has change the CORE rules of the game have potentially changed with a Beta rule or two.
There is a lot of hype around the Beta rule right now. Are we obliged to play with them and give feedback? I’m not sure. The deepstrike rule is one that I am most conflicted about.
I feel like this is just too heavy-handed against assault based armies. I get it… people put up screens of cheap troops and it is difficult to get the first turn mega charge off anyway but this change makes it 100% all the time that shooting armies will get to do what they do best – every single game!
The Finishing Moves segment is sponsored by Frontline Gaming. Their new mats are now hot off the presses and getting ready to be shipped. Please check them out, even if you already have a game mat. Their new styles are very impressive.
The Finishing Moves segment is about speed painting and making sure you do the ‘pre-work’ you need to in order to make the most of your painting time. 1000 points of Necrons in two days!
