Wyrd: The Motor Scout Combines Speed and Firepower
The Military Service Act recruited more than soldiers and engineers. It brought in a lot of inventors into service that were prepared to support the Empire’s troops with new, advanced weaponry.
The Motor Scout is one of the more useful inventions that came from their inclusion. Eccentric inventor Alphonse Whittenchapel developed the weapon by combining a machine gun and a quadricycle – creating a fast and inexpensive machine that’s usable by untrained troops. It’s commonly used to torment enemy front lines.
On the tabletop, Motor Scouts have a decent ranged attack that gives out Pinned Tokens. When combined with their high Speed, this makes them a good (and cheap) harassing unit. Their ability to multiply on the tabletop cannot be overlooked, as multiple Motor Scouts can quickly overwhelm an opponent with Activations and Pinned tokens.
