40K BREAKING: Imperial Knight Point Rumors
The Knight Rumormill has spun up again and this time we’re getting a gauge of the point changes for these Imperial Tin-cans. Come see how these point changes will impact your list!
Last week we had a rumor-mill reveal of the Knight Houses and their abilities. Today, it’s all about point costs:
“Armigers drop 60 from forgebane, knights down 25, gattler cannon down 20, dominus class base 100 more than Guilliman, new terrain 90.”
The Breakdown
- The Armigers drop 60 points – The Forgebane had them at 223, which puts them at 163 points base
- Knights drop 25 points base – If that’s the case then that puts them at 295 from Index/Ad Mech codex values
- Avenger Gatling Cannon dropped 20 points – The Index has them listed at 95, so that would mean 70 points for that weapon option
- Knight Dominus Points are 100 more than Guilliman – Robbie G is 385, so that translates to 485 for the Dominus
- New Rumored Terrain Kit 90 points
If the Knights are going to be stomping in around the 295 range base, with weapons that probably puts them in the ~400-500 point range per Knight. Players should easily be able to fit in 3 at 2k, possibly even at 1750. That’s good news if you wanted to run Knights at the upcoming Warhammer World 40K: GT. Even if the math is slightly off, this still bodes well for Knight Fans. A points reduction means more options and the ability to have some extra support units in their lists to shore-up any weaknesses. How many point does bubble wrap cost again?
Note – we’re including the previous rumors for completeness.
