To discuss who he was as a competitor, and how that’s transgressed into who he is today. He’s a riding buddy, a sparring partner, and a friend, who has known him – well – since birth. That’s right, we meet Adam’s dad in episode 28.
Sure, this episode is a bit premature, considering Father’s Day is a couple weeks away but I’ve always been one to show up early for the party. My dad is one of my favorite people in the world. I credit him with my stubbornness, my patience and also my rugged good looks. He’s been my business teacher, life coach, soccer coach, baseball coach, basketball coach, biggest fan and largest critic for all of my 33 and a half years on this planet. So I thought I’d have him on the show for a bit of introspection from the guy who probably knows me best of all.
I expected my dad to talk about how scrappy a player I was or how I worked harder than my teammates or opponents, but I never expected the kind of insight he provided during our conversation…
