Get ready to learn about the next storyline for Dungeons and Dragons as part of a massive live-streaming event that you can attend either in person, or via a convenient off-ramp on the information superhighway.

The time has come to unveil the next big storyline for Dungeons and Dragons. Come see what will be happening come the fall, and watch soe of your favorite Dungeons and Dragoners come together to play through adventures that will take you on a tour of the storyline to come. Following Acererak’s doings in the Tomb of Annihilation, what fresh hell will come to the Forgotten Realms? My guess is Beholders. For no reason in particular.

On June 1-3, D&D will bring tons of Twitch streamers, actors, comedians and D&D luminaries to the Stream of Many Eyes, a three-day livestreamed extravaganza full of cosplay, crazy sets and amazing stories. During the Stream of Many Eyes (#SoMEDND), the D&D team will unveil the new adventure story coming this year and showcase extraordinary D&D liveplay entertainment in a huge studio in Los Angeles.

Not only can fans around the world watch all the excitement unfold on twitch.tv/dnd, but you can now buy tickets to come take a tour of the studio’s sets on Sunday, June 3, get D&D merchandise you can’t get anywhere else, and watch your favorite entertainers play D&D live in the studio!

The three days of Dungeons and Dragons will be packed full of different events. The whole thing kicks off with a tour of their studio and you can catch D&D Favorites: Force Grey and Dice, Camera, Action! Later you can see some of the G&S groups and then Sunday are all of the in-studio audience events.

Tickets are on sale now for the event for folks who are interested in flying out to LA and buying tickets–but you can also follow along with the whole thing online. You will miss out on the chance to grab some unique Dungeons and Dragons merchandise.

The Stream of Many Eyes starts at 4 PM PT on Friday, June 1st, with a visual tour of the studio led by host Anna Prosser Robinson and a roundtable conversation with the D&D team on the new storyline and what makes it so exciting. Dungeons & Dragons will then present live D&D play sessions with Force Grey and Dice, Camera, Action!

On Saturday, June 2nd, the livestream kicks off at 10 AM PT with Sirens of the Realms. Saturday’s games will feature well-known D&D gaming group Girls, Guts, Glory as well newer groups Rivals of Waterdeep and Dark & Dicey, all previewing content from the new story. The entertainment will run all day, wrapping up at 7 PM PT.

Four groups will perform on Sunday, June 3rd, beginning at 11 AM PT and streaming until 8 PM PT. Games will include members of Critical Role, High Rollers, Force Grey and the entire cast of Dice, Camera, Action! performing together in costume for the first time.

Gourmet food trucks, a D&D pop-up store full of merch, and live performances from musicians, dancers and stunt-people will keep the atmosphere downright jovial before the scheduled tours begin. On the tour of the sets, you’ll get to interact with characters, authors and luminaries from some of the brands who work with Dungeons & Dragons.

At any rate, be sure to tune in to find out more about the upcoming storyline. That’s the part that I’m interested in–though I will say it is good to see how the community is coming along. D&D is growing, it’s getting more attention and more people day by day, which is interesting. We’re entering a second golden age for roleplaying games (and it’s hard to tell when you’re in one, so this is pretty cool), which bodes well for the hobby in general.

Tune in Friday June 1st for more! In the meantime, happy adventuring!
