‘Jurassic Park Danger!’ Brings Original Movie To Your Tabletop
Venture to Isla Nublar and plays as the humans to fight for survival or play as the dinosaurs to hunt for dominance.
Jurassic Park Danger! is a team-based competitive game with hidden action mechanics set in the Jurassic Park movie.
The game pits two teams against each other. One player plays as the dinosaurs while the remaining players play as humans. Throughout the island are 3 locations which offer the humans a one-time bonus if activated. The Maintenance Shed activates the electric fences, which hinder movement for humans and dinos alike. The Visitor’s Center can return cards to a player’s hand, and the Control Center locks the locations from being accessible to the dinosaurs, making them safe zones.
All players function fairly similarly. Being the turn by selecting a card from your hand and placing it facedown on the player board. Once all cards are down, the dinosaurs reveal their card and take their actions. Additionally, they have special actions which can be taken as well, allowing for some “clever girl” moments.
If a dinosaur ends in the same space as a human, they attack. When a human is wounded, they lose a random card from their hand and place it in the “burn” pile at the top of their player board.
If a player ever has to burn a card and they can’t, then they are killed, and that player starts with a new character. If the dinosaurs can kill three humans, then they win the game! But if the humans activate the 3 locations on the board, escape from the Helipad and finish their personal goals as well, they win instead.
