ToyLand: ‘Optimus Prime’ Furai Model Kit from Flame Toys
This model kit from Flame Toys has a lot going for it – great design, poseability, and easy assembly. It looks like a great addition to any fan’s collection.
This 6″ rendering of Optimus Prime is non-transforming, but it can certainly strike a pose. He has more than 40 points of articulation that offer maximum, dynamic poseability, and comes with a selection of two weapons. The paint detail on the model’s head is really well done, and the eyes have a spark of life to them. The kit is made of high-quality ABS and is snap fit making it suitable for model builders of all skill levels.
Optimus Prime’s appearance is taken from the IDW comic books and is the first in a series of Transformers kits from TRGGER and Flame Toys. Bluefin is opening pre-orders soon, and it’s set to appear in authorized Bluefin retailers in October.
