When it comes to fancy Relics to choose from, the new Imperial Knight Codex has a lot to unpack. We’ve sifted through them all and picked 5 that we think are neat. Come see our 5 favorite Knightly Relics!

There are a lot of Relics to choose from with 22 options. We’ve talked about a few already like the Paragon Gauntlet and Ravager:

But here are five more that we really think could use some play time:

Cawl’s Wrath

I’ll be honest – I’m not terribly impressed with the standard Plasma Decimator on the new Castellan. It’s basically a bigger plasma gun…which, sure it’s very killy vs infantry, but the 1 damage shot is just sorta of “meh” for a Knight! However, Cawl’s Wrath makes it the Plasma Decimator that it should be. It ups the damage by 1 for both modes and increases the AP and Strength! That’s a weapon I can get used to firing.

Traitor’s Pyre

Speaking of weapons and fire, let’s take a look at Traitor’s Pyre! I’m already a fan of the Conflagration Cannon – but version not only auto-hits, you can now re-roll to wound with it as well! Burn the heretic indeed!

Angel’s Grace

If you’re facing a Knight, one of the most effective weapons against them will be causing Mortal Wounds in the psychic phase via Smite or some other warp-trickery. That’s why we here at BoLS really liked this relic. A 4+ “save” vs Mortal Wounds in the Psychic Phase is going to very, very handy.

Thunder of Voltoris

Have you ever used the Rapid-Fire Battle Cannon and just had a bad roll? Well now you can help bring up the curve with this version. You get 3 dice and discard the lowest when rolling to shoot with it! A little consistency goes a long way.

Headsman’s Mark

This is a house specific Relic, but we wanted to show it off. This Relic makes all your attacks at models with 10 or more wounds do 1 additional damage. And if you’re battling other Titanic Units, it’s 2 Damage! Again, this bonus applies to ALL your weapons. While you might get more punch with the Paragon Gauntlet if you choose that option, this makes your total load-out more deadly. Do the math on the total load-out of your knights before you skip this option.

With 22 Relics to choose from, there is something for everyone in the new Knight Codex!
