Lock and Load enters the final day for 2018. Come check out the Iron Gauntlet (we’ve got their lists for you) and see who’ll take home the prize. The stream is about to kick off, so get ready.

That’s right folks. Come see which Warjacks, Warbeasts, and other war guys are going to be going toe to toe. Head to head. Face to face. Knee to knee. Ear to ear–wait do Warjacks have ears? Look the point is, we’ve got the lists that are going to be pulling their best John Travolta/Nicholas Cage impression and facing off with each other at 12:30pm CST.

This movie predicts the winner. It’s all there, you just gotta Da Vinci Code it.

The Iron Gauntlet is an invite-only event, gathering the best of the best–or at least tournament players who’ve managed to accrue ten points from a Masters or Championship event (they didn’t specify in the event description, so I assume you could just take points from any Masters event, a loophole I’m going to capitalize on next year, so don’t tell them)–pitting some fairly mean armies against one another.

  • Day 1 is 3 rounds, 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Description: Iron Gauntlet is the ultimate test of a player’s mastery of the game. All players who have qualified (by earning 10 or more points from a Masters or Champions event) during 2017–2018 will battle for the title of World Champion. This event requires Masters Dyad list selection and all armies to be fully painted.

Facing off for the title of World Champion are these fine folks who have assembled some pretty powerful lists.

That’s some pretty brutal stuff being thrown head to head. The semifinals start soon, and after that, you can watch the Closing Ceremonies for Lock and Load at 5pm CST. Who knows what other announcements we might find in that–at any rate, you can find the whole thing on their twitch stream, linked below.

Okay but I still don’t know if that’s John Travolta or Nicholas Cage
