You Don’t Have To Be A 90s Kid To Have Fun With ‘Splat Attack’
I’m certain you’ve never wondered who would win in a food fight between Patrick Star and Helga Pataki. But now you have. So come find the answer yourself!
Splat Attack is a fun, fast-paced miniatures food fight starring your favorite Nicktoons characters from Spongebob Squarepants, Hey, Arnold, Invader Zim, and Rugrats. Each character has unique stats and players can mix and match to build their favorite teams.
Players take turns having one of their characters grab food and hurl it at someone else, rolling a pool of dice to determine how many hits are scored. As each character is hit, their player board gets covered in Splat! If a character is completely covered, they are out of the game and the attacking players earn a hefty number of victory points as well!
Once a specific number of characters have been eliminated, the game ends and players tally their points. Points are gained through eliminating other players but also through Cool Points. Cool Points each have a secret value that only the owning player knows. Each character starts with their own Cool Points, but they can be stolen while being attacked. If you lose a valuable Cool Point token, you can steal it back. But don’t look too eager or you might draw other players to try to steal that token too.
Splat Attack is currently on Kickstarter and unlocking tons of stretch goals. The game already comes with plenty of super detailed minis, but personally, I’m most excited for my two favorite eediots!

Nickelodeon’s Splat Attack – $70 – Kickstarter ends June 7th, 2018
Nickelodeon’s Splat Attack! is a fast and frantic food fighting board game for 2 to 4 players, designed by Jonathan Ying (Star Wars Imperial Assault, Doom The Board Game). Featuring characters from SpongeBob Squarepants, Invader Zim, Hey Arnold!, and Rugrats!
In Splat Attack, players will take control of a team of 4 characters, grab a hand of food cards, and load up their team with Cool Points. Cool Points range in value from 0 to 3 points, and can be stolen from your characters when they get hit with food! However, additional Cool Points can be collected by reaching key locations on the game board.
When hit with food, splat tokens must be placed on the defending character. Placing these tokens strategically will be key to your success, as your character’s grid space is limited. Once a character’s grid is fill, the character is splatted and out of the game.
Players that are able to get the last hit in and splat a character, earn a golden Cool Point. Once the last golden Cool Point is taken, the game ends, and all players add up their Cool Points to determine a winner.
