Geekery: First Castlevania Season 2 Trailer – Join the Awakening
Mr. Belmont, Alucard, and Sypha Belnades prepare for winter, and an intense battle with Dracula who is determined to destroy humanity, in the much anticipated second season of Castlevania.
The first season was a success for Netflix, and had fans asking for more after the 4 episode series dropped. The new 8 episode season was written by comic veteran and novelist Warren Ellis, and directed by Sam Deats (worked on season one).
Returning to Netflix for a second season, Castlevania, inspired by the classic videogame series, is a dark medieval fantasy following the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepes himself. Trevor Belmont, last survivor of his house, is no longer alone, and he and his misfit comrades race to find a way to save humanity from extinction at the hands of the grief-maddened Dracula and his sinister vampire war council.
The series drops on the streaming service on October 26th, just in time for Halloween.
