Geekery: Too Lazy to Build Your Lego Cars – Let this Machine do It For You
This fully autonomous Lego car factory allows folks design their car before it rolls off the line. The tech behind it is really cool.
Daniele Benedettelli built the assembly line using Lego as a way to show what Eclipse Papyrus (programming language used in automation processes) can do. It contains more than 5,000 Lego parts, and custom made LED status lights. The cars are made of four pre-assembled components – chassis, front, back and roof – and they fit a minifig.
