40K RUMORS: Ork Clan Rules

From the Goffs, to Evil Sunz and everything in between – there is a new set of Ork Clan rules doing the rounds in the rumorsphere.

Chapter Master Valrak has the following rumors to report regarding the upcoming Ork codex, due out in October.

Here’s the baseline info from Valrak:

“This information was sent by someone claiming to be someone who tested the rules for the Ork Codex, the chap said he’s had it since April and it was finalised over two months ago”

The Clan Rules

Bad Moons: Units re-roll to hit rolls of 1 in the shooting phase.

Blood Axes:  Units can Fall Back and shoot and charge in the same turn. Units always count as being in cover. (exact save unknown)

Deffskulls: Units have a 6+ Invul save. Units additionally may choose to reroll a single to-hit, to-wound, or damage die per shooting or fight phase.

Evil Suns: Units add 1″ to all Moves, Advances, and Charges. They additionally ignore the -1 to-hit penalty for firing when Advancing iwth Assault weapons.

Goffs: Units generate an extra attack die on all to hit rolls of 6 in the fight phase.

Snakebites: Units ignore inflicted wounds on a 6.

Free Booters:  Units become +1 to-hit after an allied unit has destroyed an enemy unit. (time restrictions unknown, ie this turn, this phase?)

 

As always, we will need to wait till the codex is out to see how accurate these are, but help yourself to the rumor-buffet!
