40k Tournament Etiquette – Do You Have It? – FTN
Paul and Ricky kick of the show to discuss how Terminators may sweep the tournament scene. After that Paul and Reece from Frontline Gaming take a deep dive into a new ITC proposal they are calling Floor Rules – Rules of Etiquette for ITC tournaments.
Ricky is back!
Hey guys,
It’s great to have Ricky back and we spend quite a lot of time talking about Teleport Homers. Are these friendly models or not? More to the point, can they hold objectives? Sure, they are easy to get rid of if you can get close but what if?? We’re I asked to rule on this I would definitely say no but I think the jury is out on what the rules support.
In Part 2 we sit down with Reece from Frontline Gaming to talk about 40k Tournament Floor Rules. These are currently up for review, debate and revision in the ITC Tournament Organizer’s Facebook group. If you run ITC tournaments, big or small, you are encouraged to join this group
Most of the time it is just a place where event organizers can post questions to each other and trade techniques to make their tournaments even better. Every now and then something like these Floor Rules come along where it is good to get a LOT of opinions.
Like with anything, it is COMPLETELY up to the individual TOs to decide what to adopt but I think this is the natural progression as our Matched Play scene grows.
In part 3 we talk about the innovative lists that did really well at the Bay Area Open, an event hosted by Frontline Gaming.
