Psykers Coming To Necromunda – Leaked Rules Pics Within
The internet continues to churn out previews, spoilers, rumors and more. Today it’s leaked pictures from the new Necromunda book, tomorrow it’s news that GW is releasing sapient ducks.
Not, like, as a line of miniatures, just actual, genetically enhanced, sapient ducks. But we’ll cover that later, for now it’s a leak from Gang War IV, which should come as little surprise. There’s a redditor who beats some of the most respected sports journalists to their scoops, because random people on the Internet get things done when none else can.
Today’s random person on the Internet is an imgurian (imgurite) unearthed via Spikeybits; these pictures are making the rounds, taking strange detours on the information superhighway to your eyeballs.
Here we go friends, headfirst into the psychic powers of Necromunda.
So powers are actions, which you manifest as a simple, basic, or double action depending on the power you’re manifesting. Looking at some of the stat blocks for the hive denizens gifted, you can see that each of the psykers comes with their own suite of powers.
And here’s the handsome fellow it belongs to:
This is Ortrum 8-8, a sanctioned psyker who will hound your opponents’ souls and slowly devour them. Or there’s this fancy boy, who looks as ready to cast judgement as he does warp energies.
Of course all the normal psychic stuff applies. Only instead of denying the witch, attempts to shut down an enemy’s wyrd powers lead to a psychic duel where the one psyker can damage the other if the power isn’t shut down. Nothing unexpected, but a nice, tactical wrinkle in the structure of Necromunda. Let’s end with everyone’s favorite part of psychic powers:
Perils–making the world better and safer for people by eventually wiping out the psykers who invoke this doom upon us all.
Enjoy these rules, and remember in matters of the mind, nevermind the matter.
