40K: Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2 Adds A New Trailer To Its Collection
Trazyn the Infinite stalks the halls of his vast collection as he bears witness to a Galaxy throwing itself headlong into war–Battlefleet Gothic Armada Two gets a brand new trailer.
That’s right folks, the upcoming Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2, developed by Focus Home Interactive, has a brand new trailer that showcases the ships and explosions of the different factions that will be in the game. You can catch a glimpse of everything in this trailer, including: the Imperial Navy, the Adeptus Mechanicus, Space Marines, Aeldari Corsairs, Craftworld Aeldari, Drukhari, the Tau Fleet, the Tau Merchant fleet, Orks, Chaos, Tyranids and Necrons. All narrated by our infinite collector boy, Trazyn. It’s definitely got me hyped to play the game, so let’s take a look.
Diving in, we see a whole bunch of new stuff. I hadn’t ever seen Tyranid Ships in action–so seeing these guys show up and literally eat the other enemy alive–I thought for sure there’d be bio-plasma or the like, but no, they just charge ahead with their wide-eyed expressions.
And they eat them right up. Armor, engines, and all. At any rate, this is but one of many magical moments brought to you by the new trailer.
This game promises to be big. As was Battlefleet Gothic in the first place, I suppose. But this game looks to encompass everything, all the different factions you could want–well not all of them, there are still no Hrud or Nicassar fleets out there (that I’m aware of), but there’s basically everything else. So load up your Armada, scramble your fighters/battlecruisers, and Rokks, because it’s time to go take the fighting to the stars.
Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 is the new real-time strategy game adapted from Games Workshop’s famous tabletop game that portrays the epic space battles of the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
Expanding on the groundwork laid out by the first game, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 is a full-blown sequel – bigger, richer, more impressive and more ambitious than the original game. It will include, at launch, all 12 factions from the original tabletop game and its expansions it is based on: the Imperial Navy, Space Marines, Adeptus Mechanicus, Necrons, Chaos, Aeldari Corsairs, Aeldari Craftworld, Drukhari, the T’au Merchant and Protector Fleets, Orks, and finally, the Tyranids.
The latest dramatic story development in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, the Gathering Storm and the 13th Black Crusade, serves as the canvas for three extensive and dynamic campaigns with high narrative values, focusing on the Tyranids, the Necrons, and the Imperium. Explore the systems in the Eye of Terror, with or against renowned characters such as Belisarius Cawl, Gulliman and more.
With bigger battles, refined gameplay, improved multiplayer modes and features for a better and more balanced online experience, as well as improvements across the board and even more customisation options for fleets and ships, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 promises to be the ultimate Warhammer 40,000 space battle experience.
