40K Kill Team: Inquisitors And Commanders – Rumors And Releases
Hidden within the pages of the newly released Kill Team: Rogue Trader is some information about the next expansion for the game–and from that, we have rumors of the next releases. If you’re looking for Inquisitors and Commanders, you’ve come to the right place.
Kill Team Rogue Trader is making its way out into the wide world with a heart full of dreams and corrupted mutant crewmen, While Nurgle’s vile Gellerpox infection threatens Warp Travel, and Elucia Vhane and her retinue of Starstriders do their best to make it through the onslaught, we’ve gotten a look at the next few releases we can expect for Kill Team. You can find this snippet inside the Rogue Trader book:
Now, we’ve talked about Commanders before. Every faction will be getting some form of Commander or another, these are specialists and leaders who will bring glory to their kill team. Both Elucia Vhane and Vulgrar Thrice-Cursed are prime examples of what you can expect from a Commander. But, out of this news, we also get a look at what else we might expect to see. Spotted over on the Bolter and Chainsword forums, courtesy of use sfPanzer, we have a hint of what else we can expect while we’re expecting a new Kill Team expansion.

And I’ll point out, they do mention in the book that often times Voidsmen are assigned to Inquisitors as well. So, it sounds at least like we’ll get a look at how the Inquisition will feature in 40K. Perhaps Inquisitors in 40K going forward will follow this same model of getting a mini-dex that allows for you to take a single Inquisitor and their Retinue. Rather than a generic list, or a single special character you can add to whatever, you might see Inquisitor Greyfax and her unit of loyal bodyguard, all of whom of course will have the Necron keyword, secretly. Good ol’ Trazyn.
Gregor Eisenhorn just got a new mini the other year, now it seems like a perfect chance to showcase who he runs around with. At any rate, this is just a rumor for now, but time–in its terrible fullness, will reveal all.
