Well okay it’s more of an overview than a Primer, but you get what we mean. Come join the BoLS Crew as we take you through the second mini-dex in the Rogue Trader box: the Elucidian Starstriders.

Mini-codexes, you want ’em we got ’em. Heck, even if you don’t want ’em, we still got ’em. And now you’re going to get them as well because right below this sentence, you’ll find a series of electrons that, when applied directly to your eyeball will resolve into a video that shows off just what you can do with a Rogue Trader in your 40K Army.

That’s right friends, we’ve got the Elucidian Starstriders Mini-Dex for you today. Come and see what these fellows are capable of. I’m personally excited to have the rules for Aximillion, Hero of the Imperium, even if they don’t accurately reflect just how good a boy he is.

Still you get rules for the Voidsmen, who are probably going to be one of the most repurposed units out there–why field just one unit of Voidsmen (which you’re restricted to) when you can instead field an infinite number–well more than one, anyway–of Ventrillan Nobles or Mordians or what have you.

The Assassin is interesting–makes me wonder how many we’ll see. Again you can only get one of pretty much all of these units in your army, so you can’t really customize your squad, so much as field like a whole Character Unit–but, they do, from the surface, seem like they’d be worth fielding. Especially if you’re taking Militarum.

They’d probably pair decently with Marines, but these seem like they’d synergize best with a company full of Guard compelte with vehicle supports and transports to help you take advantage of Warrant of Trade. They might feel a little out of place alongside some Custodes, but, your mileage may, of course, vary.
