The Gellerpox Infected are led by a hulking brute of a mutant who has been touched by the gifts of Nurgle. Come take a look at his stats and the lore of this brutal new Character coming to Warhammer 40,000 tables near you!

Vulgrar Thrice-Cursed is coming with Kill Team: Rogue Trader. As the leader of the Gellerpox Infected he takes command and leads his scrappy band of pirate mutants on rampages through different ships traveling through the warp. We’ve got a look at this rules and are showcasing what he can do right here.

Vulgrar Thrice-Cursed, Leader of the Gellerpox Infected

Starting off, he’s a new HQ choice (and really, the only HQ choice) for the new Gellerpox Infected faction. He’s also got quite a few other keywords to take note of, specifically Nurgle and Character. Notice he is not a daemon which is kind of interesting all things considered.

He’s a beat-stick in melee and is more than able to put up a decent fight with most other Infantry units in the game. The big man buffs friendly Gellerpox Infected units and his Horrific Visage also makes enemies more likely to fail leadership checks. And to keep him stomping around he’s also packing a 5++ with Disgustingly Resilient.

Vulgrar’s Lore

Vulgrar started off as the ships engine-master but after being infected by the Gellerpox Virus, he went a little off the deep end:

It’s  interesting to see this loyalist-turned-mutant-chaos-follower’s story unfold. It reminds me of some type of horror-movie set in a space ship where there is an unstoppable killer wading through crew members.

Yeah…that’s a movie I’d like to see get made.

Anyhow, Vulgrar Thrice-Cursed is included with full rules to play him in Warhammer 40,000 and Kill Team in the upcoming Kill Team: Rogue Trader boxed set.

All-aboard for a good old fashioned beat down.
