Mob Up Is the Truth: FTN
In this show we finally start to narrow down Ork army list suggestions. We also give a tip or two about fighting against Orks. Later in the show we share a time saving tip for your games that just might net you a sportsmanship point or two as well.
Please pardon the difference in audio sound this week. I’m traveling and forced to rely on the laptop mic.
We don’t say this specifically but we discuss ways that you can ‘play into the orc trap of targeting exactly what they expect you to – units they can turn into tanks with a small Command Point investment. It creates a damned if you do, damned if you don’t scenario.
The Orks can pull a little drunken style combat, appearing exposed but really only presenting a false weakness that leaves your first turn of shooting almost completely blanked. When you see them trying this you’ll want to carefully consider your targets.
Later in the show we discuss a cool way to communicate with your opponent to avoid confusion and enhance the play experience for the both of you. With all tips like this you’ve really got to decide what works for you. Are you actually adding value to the game? I think, anything that doesn’t slow the game down and may actually make even the most one sided games seem more enjoyable for all parties is worth taking a look at.
