40K: The Best General Podcast – Losing The War, But Beating The Odds
‘Ere we go! In Episode 46, the Season Finale, Adam recaps his shot at Warzone: Atlanta, what went down, how it happened, and how close he flew to the sun. What a wild ride it’s been. Sixteen-months-ago, I set out to change myself. As a mediocre player, I wanted to go from the middle and bottom tables to winning a Grand Tournament. If you’ve seen the results from Warzone: Atlanta already you know that I did not win. But, a big but, I was right freaking there. I was on the top-table after day one, and playing for a chance to win it all on the second-table against none-other-than Nick Nanavati himself. Did I flounder and let the best 40K player in the world roll right over me? Nope. In fact, I had him on the ropes early on. Tune in to the Season Finale to hear how it all went down, how close I was, but most importantly – what I’ve learned along the way.
For those of you that have enjoyed this season, I will be back for a Season Two. There will be some changes though. For starters, I’m taking a two-month hiatus to focus on my family and job and business over the holidays. Also, I’ll likely be doing fewer, but more focused episodes in our next season. So stay tuned!
