Painting the skin step by step While cruising through my photos, I found these step by step photos I did for demon dude. Can’t remember his name, but I do remember it was a silly one. Anyway here is how I did the skin! 1. I sprayed the model abyssal blue from scale 75. It’s pretty much black/grey/tiny bit of blue/super boring colour! 2. I highlight with mixes of abyssal and caspian blue. 3. Carribbean and caspian blue mixes. I didn’t really use any pure Caribbean, only on extremes and the upper body. 4. I glazed Vallejo magenta mixed with abyssal blue for the subtle glow. 5. Highlights of magenta 6. Glazes if caspian/abyssal blue will smooth your transitions, I haven’t done this here but I did on the entire model when I finish highlighting it roughly. 7. For the extreme lights on the glow I used a mix of magenta/fluro magenta/ivory. The Ivory stops it getting too saturated and give the paint some body. The fluros are very transparent and so need some help. They are also crazy shiny so varnish is a must.
