I only get so much space every week, so when the industry releases a bunch of trailers it’s time for a round up. New looks at shows on Netflix, HBO, NBC; as well as Aquaman, Once Upon a Deadpool, Alita: Battle Angel, and Sonic the Hedgehog. Check it out!

Bird Box – An unknown threat has taken over the globe. Hundreds of thousands die of madness at the sight of the invaders. To save her children a mother must make a perilous journey, and they must be blindfolded the entire time to save their sanity. Drops on Netfllix December 21st.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine – Jake Peralta riffs on Die Hard (the best Christmas movie ever) in this season 6 trailer. The show makes its debut on NBC January 10th.

True Detective Season 3 – We return to the South with a new story from series creator Nic Pizzollatto. Mahershala Ali plays a detective lost in an old case, the case that ended his career, that is much more than what it seems on the surface. Debuts on HBO January 13th.

Stranger Things Season 3 – The new episodes are rumored to take inspiration from both Back to the Future and Fletch – both of which came out in 1985. Not sure how they’ll come into play, or  when the new season will drop on the streaming service. For now, we have eight episode titles: Suzie, Do You Copy?; The Mall Rats; The Case of The Missing Lifeguard; The Sauna Test; The Source; The Birthday; The Bite; The Battle of Starcourt.

The Punisher Season 2 – With all the upheaval recently it’s nice to know that we’ll get to see this. Whether or not it’s going to get Frank’s story wrapped up before possible cancellation is the big question now.

Once Upon a Deadpool – Trailer two, in which Deadpool defends Nickelback. The PG-13 re-release is a shameless cash grab, but for a good cause. $1 from every ticket sold goes to Fudge Cancer (who have also made their name PG-13 for the movie release), so make sure you take your entire extended family with you to see it on December 12th (aka today).

Alita: Battle Angel – More weird looking CG from the Cameron/Rodriguez venture. I’m a fan of Yukito Kishiro’s story, but I haven’t been a fan of this adaptation from the start. The CG characters look out of place in their surroundings – leaning toward uncanny valley at times. If you’re digging it you can catch it in theaters February 14th.

Aquaman – The latest clip shows off some of the monsters from the movie and includes an interview with director James Wan. The reviews about the movie so far have been generally positive – critics are describing it as goofy and fun. If it’s you thing, it’s out on December 21st.

Oh, and this happened…
