Wrath And Rapture’s New Fiend Rules Are Bringing Slaaneshi Back
The forces of Slaanesh have a lot of new toys to play with in Wrath and Rapture, come see the rules for the new Infernal Enrapturess and the revamped Fiends.
Wrath and Rapture is ramping up as release day draws ever closer. Today we’ve got a look at the new rules for the Infernal Enrapturess and Fiends. There’s some stuff to get excited about–the Infernal Enrapturess gives Slaaneshi forces some sorely needed anti-psyker/wizard powers, and the Fiends provide some surprisingly resilient (for Slaanesh) melee combat for the otherwise fragile army.
There are rules for both 40K and Age of Sigmar packed into the box, so let’s take a look at both of them today. Prepare your eyes for all of the Slaaneshi delights to follow.

The Infernal Enrapturess is confirmed as a Herald of Slaanesh (and it sounds like she’s one of a few), and as excellent fire support with her Heartstring Lyre providing some fairly devastating anti-infantry firepower.
Her Euphonic blast gives you some nice heavier hitting power, but it’s only one shot–it can help whittle down heavier vehicles, but could also really shine at putting the hurt on Characters, if you can get a shot at them. The real strength of this Herald though, comes in the form of her malevolent melodies–she provides some unique support abilities that help round out any Daemonic host. There’s Discordant Disruption which makes manifesting any power a risky business.
And Harmonic Alignment which makes it easier to summon Daemons into the fray.
Now with Daemonettes having a power rating of 4, this means you can reliably summon them with just a single die–and this on top of the occasional slain daemon returned, Necron-style, to full health.
In Age of Sigmar she’s no slouch either, where her ranged weapons shine. She’ll also help you generate Depravity points during each of your hero phases, helping you summon more friends in to play with your enemy, and she is absolutely punishing to enemy Wizards thanks to Discordant Disruption.
The new Fiends look incredibly spicy. With crushing claws, barbed stingers, and a vicious barbed tail, they are a powerhouse of melee combat no matter which game you’re playing them in. And sporting 4 wounds each, these new Fiends are capable of taking and dishing out more punishment than you’d think.
Combo that with their soporific musk that debuffs nearby enemies (keeping them from falling back in 40K and making units fight worse in AoS), you’ve got a great vanguard for your charge.
Especially since they too are a psychic null, making enemies near them take a -1 to psychic/spellcasting tests if they’re within 12″.
Anyway, there you have a look at the new Slaaneshi Daemons–be sure and check back for more Wrath and Rapture as the week unfurls.
