40K: New Prices Spotted For Start Collecting Kits
According to a game store in Winsford, England, these are the new prices for the Start Collecting boxes–and bonus, there are a couple of new ones sneakily announced!
Alchemists Workshops, a gaming store in Winsford, England has been cleared to talk about the new price points for the Start Collecting boxes, according to a tweet released earlier today. Included is a list of new start collecting boxes and their prices. Interestingly enough, the prices aren’t as uniform as they once were, but all the pieces do seem to be there. Take a look for yourself.

These prices are probably in pounds, since Alchemists Workshops is based out of England, which means you’ll have to make an educated guess or two to get the prices. GW doesn’t usually do the direct conversion thing but instead picks a fixed rate and goes with it, but it seems reasonable that the USD prices would increase by similar amounts as well.
In addition to the price increases, there are two other things worth pointing out. The Maggotkin of Nurgle AND the Idoneth Deepkin are both getting some start collecting boxes later this year–and seeing the increase for kits that haven’t changed in a while (like the Seraphon) makes us wonder if they won’t be seeing a little more love later this year, but that all remains to be seen.
For now, here are the prices as Alchemists Workshops reports them, and with the price change taking effect February 4th, that means its less than 30 days before we find out for ourselves.
