40K: Theta-7 Acquisitus Unboxing
Kill Team Theta-7 Acquisitus blends stealth and high-tech weaponry in order to accomplish important objectives throughout the Imperium. Come take a look at Theta-7 Acquisitus and the new Tech-Priest Manipulus right here.
Look inside Kill Team Theta-Acquisitus-7, the new Adeptus Mechanicus Kill Team starter set. Featuring a bunch of Sicarian Infiltrators/Ruststalkers and the new Techpriest Manipulus (and his accompanying Magnarail lance and/or Transonic Cannon), Theta-7 Acquisitus is a solid starting place for folks looking to get into Kill Team, especially the new Kill Team Arena setup. Here’s a look inside.
You’ll get the Sector Fronteris Kill Zone terrain in this as well, which has its own rules and slots together nice and easy, but the big takeaway is the new Techpriest Manipulus. This is, currently, the only way to get your hands on Balphamus Vaulk and field his powerful weapory in your games of Kill Team or 40K. We’ve shown you how his rules work in both systems, but here’s one last preview for you folks–a look at how his Kill Team Specialism works, so you’ll know what he’s capable of at each different level.
As you can see, Vaulk packs a powerful wallop both in and out of combat. Whatever level you take him at, you’ll get some surprising value out of him. Whether it’s being able to recover from being shaken, or gaining the effects of two different Canticles of the Omnissiah–and of course, he’ll be backed up by the Infiltrators and Ruststalkers that will help you secure the kill once you’re able to get in close–or flush out enemies so that you can drop them with your Magnarail Lance.
Theta-7 Acquisitus is available for Pre-Order as of yesterday, so if you’re looking for a new set to take you into Kill Team: Arena, that’s a great place to start.
What new Techpriests shall we see next?
