RETRO: Realm of Chaos – The Lost And The Damned
We return to the BoLS Vault to retrieve another book of ancient and forbidden lore with the Realm of Chaos: The Lost And The Damned!
It’s time for Nurgle and Tzeentch to get some time in the spotlight with the OG book on the chaos – It’s Realm of Chaos: The Lost And The Damned:
Realm of Chaos – The Lost and the Damned is the second of a two volume hardcover series which introduced the rules and background for the conflict between mortals and Chaos in the Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 settings. Its companion volume is Realm of Chaos – Slaves to Darkness.
Being the second volume in the pair of books, this one focused more on the other two Chaos Gods Nurgle and Tzeentch. It also contained a lot more information about the birth of the Emperor, the Sensei, and even had info on the Horus Heresy. This book was certainly a bridge between the Chaos of Warhammer Fantasy and 40k. On top of that, it has tons of rules and stats for a slew of old school units and more.
As we learned with Ream of Chaos: Slaves to Darkness:
“Both volumes of Realm of Chaos can be used to create daemonic armies to fight epic table top battles; they can help WFRP GMs create villains of staggering evil for roleplaying games.”
