40K: Next Week From GW – Commissar Severina Raine, Start Collecting Kits, And Underworlds
Next week is going to be a big one for GW–Commissar Severina Raine comes out as part of the Black Library Celebration, and alongside that you can start collecting various kin of Age of Sigmar, and new Underworld Boards.
That’s right folks, we have a whole host of new releases coming next weekend. Two new Age of Sigmar Start collecting kits–bringing you a great way to jump in with the Idoneth Deepkin or the Maggotkin of Nurgle, two new boards for Warhammer Underworlds, and the Commissar that’s the Bombissar (I’m so sorry), Severina Raine.

Let’s start with Commissar Raine, who is not only a sweet new model, but a character unto herself.

Severina Raine serves as Commissar for the 11th Antari Rifles, an Astra Militarum regiment assigned to the Bale Stars, where a sinister Chaos cult known as the Sighted threaten the Imperium’s rule. As the secrets of the Sighted come to light and illuminate the darkness of Raine’s troubled past, she must cling to the Commissar’s creed, and have faith that the Emperor will bring victory.
And she is improved on the regular Commissar–with Carapace armor, she’s got a better save, and her special bolt pistol, Penitence is at -1 AP. And on top of that, Commissar Severina Raine leads from the front.
And travelling to the Mortal Realms, you’ll find two new start collecting sets. There’s the Maggotkin of Nurgle, who have some cavalry and Blightboyz.
And the Idoneth Deepkin, who also have flying cavalry (even though they’re fish).
Well technically they’re eels, but there are little fish bits included in the sprues. And speaking of the Mortal Realms, for those of you playing Warhammer Underworlds, two new boards are coming out this next weekend as well.
Inside the Forbidden Chambers Board Pack, you’ll find a double-sided gaming board with some unusual features. The first side allows you to set up three fighters adjacent to one another and is ideal for defensive setups and small warbands like Steelheart’s Champions. Meanwhile, the second side contains a group of three lethal hexes, making for a deadly deterrent to any enemies who’d risk coming into your terrain.
Get ready folks, next weekend is going to be packed!
