D&D: Four New Books Coming For Young Adventurers
Just announced from WotC two new books aimed at helping young adventurers learn the game–and sneakily leaked via Amazon, two more books in the same series. Come get a first look at the Young Adventurer’s Guides.
Announced earlier from Wizards of the Coast and Penguin Random House, a new series of guides to help young adventurers get into the game. Poised as illustrated guides, these books will show younger readers some visual references of the worlds they’re playing–beautifully helmed by Jim Zub of D&D comics fame–while also offering tools to “get them thinking like adventurers.” Basically this is a way to show off the world and process of D&D without getting too bogged down by rules. Parents or teachers looking for a way to introduce their kids to the unfathomable depths of roleplaying games might find a great boon in these books.
This series is due for release July 16, 2019, starting with the first two books, featured below, Warriors and Weapons and Monsters and Creatures. However, in searching the series on Amazon, we found that two more are currently unannounced, but still listed on the site, coming later this year: Wizards and Spells and Dungeons and Tombs. Here’s a closer look at all four.
