40K: Vanguard Space Marine Obscuration Discipline Exposed
The new Obscuration Discipline of the Vanguard Librarians has been spotted online – Come see what their new Psychic Powers can do!
Looks like the Vanguard aren’t as sneaky as they were trying to be as their new powers have been discovered on the web. Let’s take a look at them before they fade away.
Shrouding
Warp Charge: 6
Target: Friendly Adeptus Astartes Phobos Unit within 18″
Effect: Until the start of the next phase, enemy models can only shoot this unit if it is the closest target that is visible to them.
Scryer’s Gaze
Warp Charge: 6
Target: Friendly Adeptus Astartes Phobos Unit within 18″
Effect: Re-roll failed to hit rolls with ranged weapons. Enemy models targeted do not get the benefit of cover from the target unit.
Temporal Corridor
Warp Charge: 6
Target: Friendly Adeptus Astartes Phobos Unit within 3″
Effect: Target unit can immediately move as if it were the movement phase. It cannot Fall back as part of that move and MUST advance. Advance roll is 3D6, discard the two lowest results. You cannot use this power on the same target more than once per Psychic Phase.
Hallucination
Warp Charge: 6
Target: Enemy unit within 18″ and visible to the Psyker.
Effect: Subtract 1 from target unit’s Leadership. Opponent rolls 2D6, is the result is greater than their Leadership, subtract 1 from hit rolls for the unit until the start of your next Psychic Phase.
Tenebrous Curse
Warp Charge: 6
Target: Enemy unit that cannot FLY, within 18″ and visible to the Psyker.
Effect: Unit suffers a mortal wound. That unit’s move characteristic, Advance and/or Charge Rolls are halved.
Mind Raid
Warp Charge: 6
Target: Enemy unit within 18″ and visible to the Psyker.
Effect: Unit suffers a mortal wound. If your army is Battle-forged, and the targeted was a character, you can then roll 3D6 vs that model’s Leadership. If it is equal or greater, you gain a Command Point.
