Codex CSM: Meet the Dark Apostle & Friends – Mini, Rules & Background

His blasphemous miniature is amazing, and now it’s time to look at his rules and background.

If you need someone to put those pesky Imperial Chaplains and their droning borefest sermons in their place – you’ve come to the right place. Meet the new Dark Apostle.

This guy has a real rock & roll vibe to him.  I like it.  All he needs is an optional chaos piano or a mic stand. He is clearly a chaos counterpart to the Black Templar’s Grimaldus and his band.

Yay, the Apostle and Disciples are separate units, so the Apostle gets full character protection. The Dark Disciples are similar to Mek-gun Grots who are tricky to directly target. Also note they don’t use up Detachment slots.

Prey to the Ruinous Powers

WOW, not a stinker in the bunch. These are all useful. Sadly for Marine Chaplains now we know who REALLY has the ear of their gods. I’m torn between whether the Khorne or Nurgle prayer is better.
