AoS: Looncurse Pricing Breakdown
With Looncurse on the horizon, it’s time to take a look at the boxed set and figure out how good this deal is going to be!
Games Workshop has a good habit of creating boxed sets that provide some additional value to the hobbyists who purchase them – typically in the form of a discount. Today, we’re taking a look at the new Battle Box for Looncurse and seeing how much of a deal we are getting vs buying all those models separately.

*Price based on AoS Hero Boxes which have been in the $25-$30 range for similar generic heroes.
And don’t forget – you’re also getting a bunch of extras in the box, too:
The Warscroll Cards might not be a full set for an army but they are pretty handy! Plus the tokens and the Campaign book are also included.
If you split this boxed set with a buddy for $80 each, you’d both be walking away with a pretty sweet deal. I know for a lot Sylvaneth players the idea of scoring some Kurnoth Hunters at a discount is pretty enticing. And for Gloomspite players – I’m pretty sure you guys can ALWAYS use more Squigs for something.
It’s a pretty solid deal and if the Hero prices fall in line with the rest, then the math checks out. Heck, if the Heroes end up costing more then the value only increases. If you’ve been waiting for the right time to start a Sylvaneth of Gloomspite Army – you might want to seriously consider this boxed set!
I mean, who can resist a face like that!?
