Geekery: Disney Announces Release Schedule for Marvel & Star Wars
The post merger schedule has been released, and there’s lots of Marvel and some surprise Star Wars movies on it. Removed from the schedule is Fox’s long planned Gambit movie, plus two other untitled Marvel projects that were to be made by Fox (likely X-Men). They also removed a Disney live action movie that was supposed to be released next year. What’s left is still a massive list that reaches eight years in the future.

As I mentioned on Monday, there are some educated guesses on what the Marvel movies will be. Bob Iger and Kevin Feige are confirmed to be overseeing the Marvel properties brought in to the fold by the merger, but there’s no word on when those characters will be seeing the screen again. I’m hoping we may see some original stories in the Disney live action line up (and maybe fewer Avatar movies)… but those hopes are not high.
What is your wishlist for all of those untitled projects?
