Geekery: First Look at ‘The Lodge’ is Bone Chilling
A brother and sister aim to give their father’s new fiancee a hard time during a stay at a remote cabin, but things take a much darker, twisted turn in this new thriller.
This is directors Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala’s English language debut. Their last foray into horror – Goodnight Mommy – was dark, violent, and unsettling. It looks like this new movie from the pair is once again exploring family, identity, and human relationships… with a large helping of horror and dread. I’m looking forward to this one.
The cast is led by Riley Keough, and includes Jaeden Lieberher, Lia McHugh, Alicia Silverstone, and Richard Armitage.
The Lodge hits theaters this fall.
