KeyForge: Rulebook Update & Card Errata
Fantasy Flight Games has a new update out for the KeyForge Rules as well as some card Errata!
There are a few rules changes for FFG’s hit unique Deck Card Card Game KeyForge. If you’re attending tournaments in preparation for the next set, get caught up on these shifts.
“A new version of the KeyForge Rulebook is available now! This update comes on the heels of the second KeyForge set, Age of Ascension; releasing on May 30th in the United States and on May 31st in Europe! These changes will be immediately going into effect.”
One of the big changes is the tweaking of the “Step 2: Choose a House” Step. This clarification makes it so that a player must choose a house that is
- On their identity card
or
- they already control a card of that house
This was to help clear up some of the confusion that timing could cause, specifically with cards like Pitlord.
Other Card Errata
There are a handful of other changes but 3 cards got called out specifically by FFG in a recent post which you can read HERE. But here are the cards and the new errata:
Bait and Switch
Errata: “Play: If your opponent has more æmber than you, steal 1 æmber. Repeat the preceding effect if your opponent still has more æmber than you.”
Library Access
Errata: “Play: For the remainder of the turn, each time you play another card, draw a card. Purge Library Access.”
Drummernaut
Errata: “Play/Fight/Reap: Return another friendly Giant creature to your hand.”
