Are you wondering if the Apocalypse Boxed Deals are the full kits? Check out our video – For Science!

We got a copy of the Ad Mech Vanguard Detachment from Games Workshop’s new Apocalypse 40k bundle/deals because we had some questions. The prime question was “why are these so much cheaper?” Maybe GW cut some cost by skimping out on bits or changed the kits. Turns out that couldn’t be farther from the truth.

Full Kits, Full Tilt

Much like the Start Collecting boxes before them, these Apocalypse bundles come with the full kits. In case you missed our pricing break down, they are all crazy good deals! Clocking in at $170, this kit has a savings of $73 vs the MSRP if you bought each option individually. And that’s not even the best deal out there!

Realistically, this Apoc Bundle is great for anyone looking to add a ton of firepower to their Ad Mech army. It’s also a stand alone Vanguard Detachment in 40k, too – so if you wanted to ally them into your existing Imperium Army, they make one heck of a firebase. Currently, these kits are up for Pre-order and I have a funny feeling they aren’t going to stick around forever…

Adeptus Mechanicus Vanguard Detachment $170

The Adeptus Mechanicus are the faithful disciples of the Machine God, wielding arcane technology to annihilate the enemies of Mankind. Towering Kastelan Robots stride across the battlefield guided by the arcane commands of Cybernetica Datasmiths, while the Tech-Priest Dominus coordinates front-line tactics and exloads war-psalms as he visits destruction upon the foe.

Comprising everything you’ll need and more to form a Vanguard Detachment in Warhammer 40,000: Apocalypse (or to kick-start your Adeptus Mechanicus collection with a bang), the Adeptus Mechanicus Vanguard Detachment set includes your three mandatory Elites units as well a full strength Heavy Support unit and an HQ choice to lead it. As Characters, the Tech-Priest Dominus or any of the Cybernetica Datasmiths can also serve as the Detachment’s Warlord, enabling you to generate an additional Command Asset each turn.

An Adeptus Mechanicus Vanguard Detachment includes the following multipart plastic kits:

– 2 x Adeptus Mechanicus Transfer Sheets

Warhammer 40,000 rules for these units can all be found in Codex: Adeptus Mechanicus, while a pdf with their Apocalypse datasheets can be downloaded for free from Warhammer40000.com/Apocalypse/Datasheets
