It’s either that or Horse Armor. You be the judge with the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop!

The cavalry might be on the way from Games Workshop, but it’s a little hard to tell. The latest Rumor Engine is a pretty up-close crop shot of something wearing a strap and a gemstone. Maybe it’s something’s hair or mane – take a look and you tell us:

“A message from beyond space and time… Does it herald a glorious possible future, or carry a dire warning of what may come to pass if we do not guess correctly?”

Whoa there Rumor Engine, it’s not that dire if we guess wrong…right? Oh no! What if IS that dire – time to get on your thinking cap, folks!

It might not be a horse – it could be some other mythical beast! Based on the Gem motif, I’d probably guess Aelves of some type as well. I wonder if this has anything to do with last week’s Rumor Engine which also revolved around Gemstones.

Both Light and Shadow Aelves have been teased in the lore – so we might be getting a tease at a new race or units for Age of Sigmar. The Aelves currently use horses in their armies but it’s quite possible they could be getting a re-work.

The Aelves also have their Woodland cousins to consider, then again, they don’t ride horses do they?

This could also be a model for something completely different as well. Frankly, a Gemstone and bunch of “hair” isn’t much to go on – oh well. I’m passing this one over to you internet! Take your best guess in the comments and let us know what you think.
