D&D: All New Adventure Anthology Teased
On Friday, WotC designer Kate Welch teased an anthology of short adventures featuring work by some amazing women. Come hear all the latest!
Kate Welch, who rode the trail for the excellent Ghosts of Saltmarsh has some amazing news for fans of adventure; in 2020 she’ll be heading up a collection of short adventures that features some prominent figures in the D&D community as well as authors who haven’t had an official WotC publishing credit yet. Here’s the announcement:
i don't want to say too much about it just yet, but i'm working with a crop of amazing writers on a series of short adventures… including @Marisha_Ray AND @DeborahAnnWoll π±π±π±π±π±π±

Marisha Ray is best known as Beau/Keyleth from Critical Role, as well as producing for Geek & Sundry. Deborah Ann Woll is known for her work on True Blood, Daredevil, and most recently as the DM of the streamed show Relics and Rarities.
But it’s not just these two big-name authors contributing to the upcoming book–indeed the idea of an anthology of short adventures sounds a bit like the recent Uncaged Anthology, helmed by Ashley Warren. Let’s see what she has to say…

One can also find Hannah Rose–another D&D writer whose work can be found in the upcoming Descent into Avernus–had a similarly cryptic message:

So it seems there’s a just a ton of talent working on this book already. Further details are a bit vague as the product hasn’t been officially announced. 2020 is going to be an exciting year for D&D it seems. With Avernus and Eberron out for everyone to play with, who knows what kind of adventures we might find in this anthology. My hope is that it capitalizes on the different styles of the authors to bring you a variety of encounters and quests–everything from tricky combats to intrigue-laden social encounters to devilish puzzles seems within the realm of possibility here.
Happy Adventuring!
