Warhammer 40K: Jain Zar is Back In Plastic
The Aeldari Phoenix Lord of the Howling Banshees is BACK and she’s got a fancy new plastic miniature too!
Say hello to the new and improved Jain Zar folks. She’s back and she’s ready to go to WORK!

Jain Zar isn’t just getting a new model either – she’s got a nasty new ability to match! She’s swapping her old Disarming Strike ability out for The Storm of Silence:
Horde Units, watch out for Jain Zar! You can pack quite a few models into a 2″ space around a model like Jain Zar. If she’s on a 40mm base then she’s going to be able to unload a boat load of attacks on a unit. Odds are she’s still going to be hitting on 2+ anyways. And if her weapons stats stay the same, that’s going to be a LOT of dead models.

We’ll have to wait and see if she gets a new datasheet or not. But that new model is looking fantastic and her new rule sounds pretty great, too!
Psychic Awakening – The Prophecy Continues
It’s time for another ominus update on the plot point front. This one comes from Ylocu Shaie, Visionary of Alaitoc:
Ylocu Shaie is clearly referring to the Ynnari and they are totally right from both an in-game lore perspective as well as on the tabletop…
We still don’t quite know where this story is heading yet but it sure seems like a massive build-up for the Aeldari. We know the Drukhari are also involved thanks to the artwork – could this be another Aeldari Civil War? Or just a skirmish before the storm?
The Banshees are heading to war…And Jain Zar is leading the charge!
