The Iron Hands and Raven Guard have some powerful Warlord Traits that will allow you to customize your heroes to suit their chapter and your needs.

Come take a look at the Warlord Traits for the Iron Hands and Raven Guard and find out how they are either casting aside the flesh, which is weak, or embracing the shadows (which are where the Ravens are). There are twelve to get through, so let’s just go ahead and dive right on in. Let’s start with the Raven Guard, because they always seem to turn up no matter what you’re doing.

If you’re looking to hit fast or hard, these are the traits for you. There’s a lot of support for Assault characters in this game. If you are worried about your smash captain getting shot at while charging something, Shadowmaster is a great option for you. Or you might use an enemy unit as a shield, getting stuck in before falling back to shoot and then charge again–sacrificing nothing for the protection of a close combat in the enemy’s shooting phase.

Or there’s the Iron Hands, who have a number of great support traits as well.

Adept of the Omnissiah lets you upgrade your Vehicle Repair skills, whilc Merciless Logic lets you get more firepower bang for your firepower buck. An excellent combination with some of the Iron Hands relics. Though my personal favorite is the Target Protocols, which are helpful when you keep rolling sixes while shooting with your Bolter, but for some reason whenever you need to fire a real gun, it’s all 1’s.

At any rate, those are the Warlord Traits… hope you enjoy. Which ones will you put to use on your heroes? Which ones will you use to lead your army to victory?
