Goatboy’s 40K – Faith & Fury World Eaters
Goatboy here again and Faith and Fury was an exciting release. Here’s a World Eater list using all the awesome new toys!
The new book really amped up some Chaos stuff and we might see some actual CSM armies show up. They will answer some weird things in the meta and maybe help bring back a Beta Strike style list and put some of the Marine armies on their butts. Or it will just lose like a boss. We’ll see as Chapter Approved comes out and hopefully some stuff goes down in cost (Cough… Heldrakes). My good Khorne buddy Horton threw out this list for me and I really think its pretty interesting. Heck interesting enough to show it as my Friday list of the week. It utilizes two World Eater CSM Battalions and should put enough pressure on your opponent to be pretty mean. It also uses Raptors – which is a heavily under utilized unit.

Bloody Tactics
Obviously the terminators get the Khorne Zerker Upgrade for 2 CP, the Raptors move forward 9 inches for another 1 CP, and you could give another Relic to a Character if you would like. The idea is that you have constant pressure with Heldrakes and Raptors. Then you have a turn two hammer that comes down and has hopefully an 8 inch charge if needed and can reroll it. It feels very fast and hopefully some units drop in cost and we have a few more points to mess with. Heck the idea of using Raptors again is pretty nutty especially mixed in with a 9 inch move. It also has Kharn who is a crazy monster himself.
I think the Raptor set up works for a lot of armies too – like the Alpha Legion who has another fast moving option as well as just using the Khorne Strat to attack again – and thus wrap units up in a nice bow for the rest of your army to come in hot and get to killin’ for Khorne.
